Natural Health Product (NHP) Site Licensing

A Site Licence is required for any site that manufactures, processes, packages, labels, imports, and/or stores NHPs in Canada. A Site Licence is issued by the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) of Health Canada. Site Licensing helps confirm the Canadian market consists of safe, high-quality NHPs.

To ensure a smooth NHP Site Licensing process, our team will work with you to review your site's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and associated documentation against Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The goal is to confirm appropriate standards and procedures are implemented with regards to the manufacturing premises, equipment, personnel, operations, product specifications, stability, recall procedures, quality assurance, and records. We will prepare and submit all necessary documentation and liaise with the NNHPD on your behalf. Explore our additional services for NHPs.
